Weaving training begins in Lalitpur for youths
With the support of the Greater Impact Foundation, NGF was pleased to launch Weaving Opportunities training for 45 youths in the Lalitpur area of Kathmandu. Trainees were selected from 100 applicants on the basis of their need, socio-economic status and commitment to work. Training was launched on 31st August in an inauguration ceremony led by Constitution Assembly Member Mr. Madan Bahadur Amatya at the training venue in Buddhapokhari, Thecho, Lalitpur. Mr. Ram Bahadur Gurung, Senior vice president of Nepal Carpet Exporter Association, also attended the program as a special guest and the program was chaired by Mr. Ganesh Bhakta Shrestha, the president of NGF.
