Medical Camp for workers conducted by NGF

Medical and Health Services is one of the most popular and in demand programme of the Foundation among the carpet workers. The Foundation has been conducting the medical health camps for the carpet workers and their families at regular intervals in its licensees and its supply chain in the cluster area of carpet factories.

Three Medical Camps - January 26th, March 30th and December 28th were held in 2013. As per the report from the doctors most of the patient were infected by Chest infection, Upper respiratory Infection (URIL), Urinary Tract Infection (UII), Acute Peptic disorder (APD), Inflammation of Tonsil (Tonsillitis), Inflammation of Stomach (Gastritis), Diarrhea, infected wound, Dermatitis, Eye diseases, Inflammation of Vagina, fever, eye infections, eye sight problem, dermatitis, conjunctivitis, APD, headaches, URTI, sinusitis, UTI, back pain, joint pain, gastritis, pharyngities, worm infestation, weakness, dysmenorrheal, amenorrhea, bleeding, shoulder pain, diarrhea, CSOM, common cold, muscle pain, acute tonsillitis, oral ulcer, pregnancy and LRTI. etc.

Twenty-five factories, forty-two supply chains and 542 carpet workers and their families were benefited from these camps.
