Eye Camp conducted by NGF for the first time

Nepal GoodWeave Foundation organized first eye camp in April 26th, 2014 in collaboration with Lions Club Hospital, Min Bhawan, Kathmandu at Thali.

Objective of the Camp:
• To be able to make the workers aware of various eye problems & then how timely action can prevent any unforeseen eye disease.
• To do the free eye screening of the workers.
• Those having an eye problem were advised and referred to Lions Club Hospital for detailed eye examination and treatment.
• To increase awareness to preventive health care.

Vision testing and 92 workers have been fitted with glasses. GoodWeave hopes to continue this work to reach many thousands of weavers who still need eye treatment and access to other basic necessities of life.
